Between The Miracle Mile and the
eternal
Sir Francis Drake Boulevard,
Lie a few blocks of road
Known by street fanatics
As Red Hill Avenue.
This is where two men
Are digging the land.
One is White and one is Mexican,
So the White man is put in control
By white collared White men
Who only touch the streets
With the tires of their
Japanese luxury cars.
Something has gone wrong.
The Mexican man explains.
The White man pretends to listen.
