He/She Doesn't Even Like Me!

Are you in love with someone who doesn't feel attracted to you at all? Your friends have told you it is hopeless. You know it's hopeless!!! But you can't shake these feelings?

What can you do?

• First thing ask yourself: "Why am I in love with someone who is not at all interested in me?"

• Good question, huh?

  Well, for starters, it might be safer that way. Maybe deep down you know that nothing will ever happen with you and this person, and maybe you really aren't ready for a serious relationship.

  Maybe you are attracted to people who don't appreciate you because for some reason you have low self-esteem (meaning you don't like yourself very much). So being treated badly is all you think you deserve.

  (This sounds kinda harsh, but it might be true.)

Maybe it's time you did a little work on yourself.

• Learn to appreciate who you are.
  
• Figure out what you have to offer to a relationship. (These are often the same things you bring to a friendship. You know like, being a good listener, or having a great sense of humor, or being loyal.)

  Everyone brings something to a relationship. It's never one-sided.

Remember.... Don't waste your time with people who don't like you!
