Solutions in Sight: Spaceship Earth

 

Here are stories about young people who looked around and saw a problem that needed a serious fix. They believed they could make a difference, and, in spite of lots of opposition, they actually went ahead and did it! These stories are about young people making a difference on issues around the environment.

Student Conservation Association (SCA), Liz Titus Putnam - "...our [national] parks were being loved to death."
 

Sierra Student Coalition, Sage Rockermann - "...as student activists, we've been able to experience so much success."
 

Adobe Creek Restoration Project, Jennie Furrer - "If we just keep trying and making a difference then we will be able to change the world."
 

YES! (Youth for Environmental Sanity), Tad Hargrave - "The biggest challenge in the inner cities is not the violence, the drugs, the abuse, the poverty, it's that people lose their dreams."
